Story

Strength. Confidence. Resilience.

Like A Rhino was founded in February 2023 by Coach Lyss, also known as Alyssa Conway—a lifelong athlete, certified trainer, and record-holding powerlifter.

 

After years of experience in personal training, competing, and helping others achieve their fitness goals, she took a leap of faith to create a coaching service that empowers people of all levels to train with confidence through personalized programs, expert guidance, and ongoing support.

Coach Lyss has been a certified personal trainer since 2021, with a background in strength training and powerlifting.  

From 2021 to 2023, she held 8 WRPF records in New Mexico across two weight classes and secured 4 top 3 rankings in the USPA. While she has stepped away from powerlifting to focus on functional fitness and growing Like A Rhino, her passion for personal fitness and helping others build strength remains stronger than ever.
